Sport Scout suspension

Sam Vella likes a challenge,when his worn Scout motor needed an overhaul he decided that this was the time to develop a rear suspension conversion that would use all existing parts and it would be able to be returned to standard with no permanent damage to his machine. The parameters were that it should also look period so no box section frame here, also it needed to be mechanically damped, the lugs were cast then machined by Sam all were then brazed together and jigged so they were in line. I reckon he has achieved it and it’s due to go to the Teepee Rally in November with its fresh engine it should be a nice riding machine
